Mixed Bag

In honesty my interest is only occasional, but in my defence, do you think you would wander far from home with this lot with you? The one on the left is a ‘gurner’ of some repute, so be warned. The one on the right tends to ‘ramble on’ at the weekends Carers - out of view!
Walking Club!
Gardening.
Until two years ago my involvement with gardens was walking past them! But a changed man is I. I cannot believe the pleasure I have gained from my ‘postage stamp’ sized garden. I was fortunate to have neighbours who helped me considerably but just as importantly took pride in their own. My television viewing is dominated by anything horticultural. I now have plants and cuttings from friends and family scattered around even, a small patch of grass from ‘the Cantona years’ at Old Trafford (I wonder if in time if it will help in selling the house)!
Photography.
I enjoy taking photographs, on my compact camera wherever I am, my weakness being sunsets and silhouettes. I look forward to when the price of digital cameras falls within the price range of most people. To be able to view photographs instantly and work on them at home, printing your own results, great stuff! The same could be said for video conferencing, (when the picture and voice quality improve), for me it will be great to see and talk to relatives and friends worldwide - via a monitor or television!
